Final Cut Pro Introduction: Professional Post Production in Final Cut Pro X (FCP X)

Duration: 3 Days

Course Information

Final Cut Pro X is a revolutionary video editing application that helps beginners and seasoned professionals achieve stunning results. In this three-day, hands-on course, students become familiar with the user interface while they learn how to perform editing functions. Students work with real-world media to learn practical approaches to video editing?from basic techniques to the powerful advanced features of Final Cut Pro. The course replaces the now-deprecated Apple Authorised courses known as FCP101 and FCP300. It may also be taken as a private, closed session over four or five days, for those who prefer more time and a less intensive pace. For Students Enrolled in a Virtual Class: Each student will need to setup two (2) computers in order to take the class virtually. The first can be a PC, tablet or Mac. The second computer must be a Mac and you will need the software (and version) being taught in the course already installed on your computer. This setup will allow virtual students to view the presentation on one computer and do support exercises on the other one.

Upon completion of the Final Cut Pro X 10.2 Professional Post-Production course, students will be able to: Use libraries to organise and manage media and projects; Apply exceptionally fast, fluid editing techniques for video and audio; Fine-tune clips in the timeline; Compare alternate shots from a collection of clips; Apply effects, transitions, and retiming clips; Work with 3D titles; Finish and finalise a project

This class is designed for anyone who wants to edit professional-quality video with Final Cut Pro X and prefers hands-on and interactive instruction.

"I am writing to say thank you for organising my FileMaker training day; I learned so much with my trainer, Nick, and have come away with such a great database. It delighted both the Director and my job share partner. I feel I have left with a great amount of knowledge that can help the business immensely. I learned more than I thought I would and would like to thank Transmedia for being so helpful!"
