Objectives

Learning to reduce stress, to see things differently, is a skill that can take a lifetime to learn. This course provides you with a practical step-by-step guide to understanding the root causes of your own stress and then helps you develop improved coping mechanisms, life strategies and world views. Using NLP and Life Coaching skills, we can significantly improve your ability to deal with stress by examining how you ‘process’ it.

Pre-requisites

A desire to reduce stress in your working life as a manager, leader, delegator, team member, company director, sales person, or indeed in whichever discipline you work in or aspect you choose to apply these skills and techniques.

Course includes

A comprehensive set of reference notes covering course topics, follow-up telephone support and, for training on Transmedia premises, lunch and refreshments.

Course outline

Understanding Stress

  • Addressing the real world issues of stress in the workplace, stressful living and dealing with stressful environments
  • Consideration of examples of how others have coped well with stress and even learned to thrive on it

Managing Stress

  • Taking NLP methods and applying them to oneself and to teams
  • Using coaching techniques in ‘world views’ ‘labelling’ and ‘personality types’.
  • Receiving one-to-one feedback from a highly experienced tutor
  • Identifying a ‘hit list’ of actions you can take – delegation, work life balancing, career review – and developing initial steps towards resolution or reduction of the impact of stress
  • Reviewing the stress-generators in your working life and building a strategy to tackle them
