Writing for the Web
It's clear that copywriting for the web is different to writing for print publication or even presentations. On this one day course, we show you how to write effective copy for your internet and intranet sites. We consider how people read online and therefore how we need to write for them. We look at what makes an effective online writing style and why copy needs to be different for mobile. Our highly interactive workshop uses exercises, discussion and review of live sites to help delegates learn how to adapt source material to use on-line and write clear, readable on-line information from scratch.Topics covered include Identifying goals, Achieving 'readability', Effective writing styles, Writing for different parts of the site, Approaches to formatting, Repurposing content for the web and Company-specific advice, where time permits.
